A pristine double magnum and an imperial of Chateau Mouton Rothschild 2003, this vintage marked the 150th anniversary of Mouton's entry into the Rothschild family. The commemorative label shows a photograph of Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild with a copy of the title deed behind it. Most recently reviewed by Antonio Galloni in 2016, he said it was "pretty hard to resist... an exceptional, deeply satisfying Mouton endowed with notable richness but also exceptional balance."
A double magnum of 100 point (WA) Chateau Latour 2003 - "the sexiest Latour ever made" according to Latour CEO Frederic Engerer. Robert Parker loved this wine so much that he purchased some himself. From a smaller vintage than normal for this wine, this is something seriously special.
There are 2 magnums of 100 point (WA) Petrus 2000, described by Parker as "monumental" with an estimated 50+ years of aging potential still ahead of it. Interestingly, bottles of Petrus 2000 were sent into space as part of the Space Cargo Unlimited experiment.
There's also a collectible 2002 DRC assortment case, being offered at almost 10% below any others on the market. Bought by our client through the Dutch agent and stored under bond ever since.
